Educator. Writer. Lover of Vermont’s mountains and trails. Devoted to my students at Winooski Middle High School. A lover of reading and the outdoors. Researcher and academic.

My journey has taken me from New Jersey, where I grew up, to Michigan, where I began creating documentary films and writing. Then, to Boston for more education and exploration of a great, historic urban area that always satisfied. My freelance writing career took off during my time in Boston, and continued when I left for Vermont.

I have lived in Vermont for 23 years, enjoying the smell of woodsmoke on a cold winter’s evening, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, hiking in the warmer months, and the sunrise over the Worcester Range just outside my door.
